Playa S'Estanyol is a natural bathing beach located on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach is 120 metres long and 20 metres wide with a medium slope. It is a free-access recreational bathing area used daily by local residents, with low visitor numbers. The water has no currents, whirlpools, or undertow.

Water

Free-flowing bathing water in a natural setting. The beach measures 120 metres in length and 20 metres in width with a medium slope. Part of the water mass MAMC11M3 in the area between Cala Figuera and Cala Beltran.

Location

The beach is located in the municipality of Llucmajor on Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is good. Parking is available but poor quality. Vehicular access to the beach is not available.

Facilities

Pedestrian access is available and good quality. Disabled access is not available. Lifeguards, toilets, showers, and a promenade are not mentioned.

Water Quality

Annual water quality classification was Excellent in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. No short-duration pollution episodes were recorded in these years. No exceptional pollution episodes exceeding 72 hours were recorded. State classification was Good in 2007–2009 and 2018–2019, declining to Moderate in 2022–2023. Identified pollution sources include septic tanks and boats. No point-source discharges or discharge pipes are present.

Risks

Occasional phytoplankton proliferation risk. Occasional jellyfish risk. No history of cyanobacteria. Low floating waste accumulation in the area.
