Son Xoriguer is a natural bathing beach located on the island of Menorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach measures 60 metres in length and 40 metres in width with a gentle slope and coarse sand and pebble substrate. It is a free-access recreational bathing area used daily by both visitors and locals with medium affluence.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent for years 2019–2022. The water body is designated as MEMC05M2. Accumulation of floating waste is low to very low. No point source discharges or other contamination sources have been described. Two stormwater drainage pipes without relief valves are present in the area.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish. No recorded history of phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation.
