Santa María del Mar is a 630-metre urban beach located in Cádiz, Andalucía, with an average width of 30 metres. The beach has golden sand composition and is exposed to moderate wave conditions. It is situated in Atlantic coastal waters of the Gulf of Cádiz and experiences mesomareal tidal ranges of 2–4 metres with dominant currents moving southward.

Wave regime dominated by westerly and subordinately southeasterly directions. High exposure to wave action.

Location

Located in Cádiz municipality, Andalucía, Spain. The beach is accessible on foot and features a seafront promenade with disabled access ramps.
