Torrevigía-Torrequebrada is a 200-meter-long urban beach in Benalmádena, Málaga, with an average width of 20 meters. The beach features dark sand and shallow waters with calm bathing conditions. It is naturally exposed to moderate wave action dominated by easterly and east-southeasterly winds associated with the Levante wind.

Mediterranean coastal waters influenced by Atlantic waters. The area features shallow bathing waters with sand substrate. The tidal range is microtidal (0-2 meters). Currents are dominant towards the northeast. Annual precipitation ranges from 600 to 800 millimeters with a torrent index of 25-50 percent.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent for all four monitoring seasons (2013–2016). Short-term microbiological pollution risk is low, determined using the UNE 150008 standard. The identified pollution source is the Arroyo de la Miel wastewater treatment plant (MA282), which treats urban effluent.
