Pogoria I is an artificial reservoir bathing area located in Dąbrowa Górnicza in the Silesian Voivodeship. The bathing zone has a shoreline of 50 meters and is open for swimming from mid-June to the end of August. Water quality has been classified as good overall, with excellent ratings recorded in several recent years.

Designated swimming zone in water, mooring for water equipment, waste bins, toilets, showers, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

Season

13 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00–19:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: good. Overall visual assessment: suitable for bathing. Maximum permissible concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml, Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Water quality rated as suitable for bathing in most recent tests, though isolated incidents of unsuitable conditions occurred in June 2023 (high enterococci) and August 2022 (high E. coli and enterococci).
