Location

Dąbrowa Górnicza, Łęknice, Silesian Voivodeship, Dąbrowa Górnicza County. The site is managed by Centrum Sportu i Rekreacji, located at ul. Konopnickiej 29, 41-300 Dąbrowa Górnicza.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, pier/dock, water equipment mooring capability, designated grilling/fire pit areas, wheelchair accessible, waste bins, toilets, showers, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard on duty, pets prohibited, information board.

Season

13/06/2025 – 31/08/2025. Operating hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–18:00, Saturday–Sunday 10:00–19:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as good (2025). Water is suitable for bathing. Monitored for Escherichia coli and enterococci with maximum permissible concentrations of 1000 CFU/100 ml and 400 CFU/100 ml respectively. Occasional unsuitable water episodes occurred in 2022 (04/08/2022), 2020 (25/08/2020), 2018 (27/07/2018 and 27/06/2018), and 2016 (08/07/2016) due to elevated bacterial levels or cyanobacteria bloom.

Risks

Cyanobacteria bloom occurred on 27/07/2018. Occasional high levels of Escherichia coli and enterococci have required water closure.
