Poiatte is a bathing water area located on Lake Santa Croce in the Veneto region of Italy. The beach is positioned to the west, below the circumlacustrine road. The bathing area has a beach width of 0 to 5 metres and covers an extent of 0.510 square kilometres. Fishing boat buoys are present in the area.

Alpago municipality, Belluno province, Veneto region, Italy. The beach is situated west of the circumlacustrine road on Lake Santa Croce.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: excellent (2021–2024). Enterococci at 95th percentile: 30.629 CFU/100ml; at 90th percentile: 19.491 CFU/100ml. Escherichia coli at 95th percentile: 48.75 CFU/100ml; at 90th percentile: 29.353 CFU/100ml. No active wastewater treatment plant in operation. No river mouths identified as pollution sources.

Risks

Cyanobacteria monitoring indicates no exceedance above 20,000 cells/ml during 2021–2024. No macroalgae proliferation, phytoplankton proliferation, or potentially toxic species events recorded in the preceding four years.
