Water Quality

Identified pollution sources include: wastewater collection and treatment systems, stormwater drainage systems, canine faeces, agricultural activity, and seasonal discharges from camping-car facilities. Ulva algae deposits have been recorded on the Pleubian littoral.

Potential pollution from non-compliant individual wastewater treatment systems and pipe connections. Stormwater runoff poses contamination risk. Dog faeces deposits are noted as a pollution source. Tidal and rainfall parameters influence water quality. Ulva algae accumulation has been documented on nearby littoral areas.
