Location

Formia, Latina Province, Lazio Region. The bathing area is situated along the coast between Vindicio and the Garigliano Basin.

Facilities

Stabilimento balneare (equipped beach establishment) with groins and beach structure.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Elevated. The area includes an equipped beach facility. Monitoring for pollutant concentration is not currently active during the bathing season. One active urban wastewater treatment plant serves the municipality for populations exceeding 2000 equivalent inhabitants.

Risks

Mollusk farming is identified as a source of impact on bathing water quality. An appropriate modeling approach for short-duration pollution events is still under study.
