Santa Cesarea Terme, Lecce province, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing area extends 2.75 km.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No direct sewage discharges to sea are present. No watercourses or canals that could convey pollutants to the bathing area have been identified.

Risks

No short-term pollution events were recorded over the past four years. The area is not characterised by cyanobacterial blooms. No cases of potentially toxic algal proliferation have been detected in the past four years.
