Praia da Amália sits along the west coast of the Algarve, reached via a narrow trail from a nearby parking area that requires walking through natural terrain and, in some sections, bending or climbing over rocks. The beach has no facilities and is bordered by open water with currents not suited for swimming. Access is by foot only, with the hike taking approximately 10 minutes.
