Praia de Camaxe is an estuary beach in Galicia located near the bridge connecting to the island, featuring shallow water that is calm at mid to high tide and sheltered from wind. The beach has fine sand with some stones, a wooden boardwalk and bike path, free restrooms, beach bars, parking, and disabled access.
