Praia do Barranco is a sandy cove enclosed by cliffs, reached via a path of roughly 500 meters from the parking area, with stairs on the eastern side of the valley and rocky trails on the western side. The beach has no facilities or services, so visitors must bring their own supplies. Water clarity is high, though rocks near the shore can make swimming difficult in places.
