Praia do Canal is located near Arrifana, bordered by rugged coastal cliffs to the south. The beach features Atlantic waters with strong rips, large waves, and rocky areas, making it more suited to experienced surfers than swimmers. Access is via an unpaved road that requires a 4WD vehicle, with no formal facilities on site.
