Brindisi, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing area is located within the southern limit of the Torre Guaceto–Brindisi Marine Protected Area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No discharges from treatment plants releasing urban wastewater to sea are present. No river mouths or channels that could convey pollutants to the bathing area have been identified. No short-duration pollution events have been recorded over the last four years.

Risks

No pollution sources or anomalous situations have been identified. No cyanobacteria or algal blooms have been recorded. No potentially toxic algal species proliferation has been detected.
