Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2015-2018). Escherichia coli: 95th percentile 85 CFU/100ml, 90th percentile 52 CFU/100ml. Intestinal enterococci: 95th percentile 65 CFU/100ml, 90th percentile 38 CFU/100ml. Annual surveillance and monitoring of cyanobacteria since 2010 with concentrations always below threshold values.

Risks

Potential short-term pollution events from intense meteorological events, accidental discharges, and malfunctioning of overflow or treatment systems. No anomalous events or toxic effects on swimmers or the aquatic environment have been recorded. Macroalgae and phytoplankton proliferation assessment is not applicable.
