One urban treatment plant with capacity for more than 2,000 population equivalent operates in the municipality. Mollusk farming identified as a potential pollution source. No specific active monitoring for pollutant concentration and diffusion during the bathing season at the time of profile preparation.

Risks

Potential short-term pollution events are under study for appropriate modeling approaches. Rio Martino river basin is present in the area.
