Regau Badesee is a groundwater lake formed after 1972, covering approximately 48,000 square metres with depths exceeding 10 metres in places. The lake is sheltered from wind, which causes it to warm rapidly. Public meadows designated for sunbathing are frequently flooded due to significant fluctuations in groundwater levels.
