Rieder Badesee Nord-Ost is an artificial lake with an area of 2.2 hectares. Water is supplied via a feeder channel from the Fendlerbach. The lake is regularly emptied in winter through a drain valve. Wastewater treatment improvements in the Fendlerbach catchment area have reduced contamination. The bathing water has been classified as excellent quality.
