Riedsee Leeheim is a quarry lake created from gravel extraction located in the Upper Rhine Plain in Hesse, Germany. The lake covers 24 hectares with a maximum depth of 22.1 meters and average depth of 9.1 meters. Its clear water and stable summer temperature stratification support excellent water quality. The swimming area features a 125-meter sand beach and a 150-meter lawn area, with the remainder of the shoreline in its natural state with reed vegetation.
