Río Escabas at Cañamares is a bathing area located in the Tajo river basin in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The site features a weir that creates a bathing pool in a canyon carved through limestone and cretaceous materials, with vertical and subvertical canyon walls. The bed consists of rocks, gravel, sand and aquatic vegetation, while the beach comprises stones, sand and gravel. The area is modified by human action and is surrounded by Mediterranean mountain river habitat protected as a Site of Community Interest (LIC) and Special Protection Area (ZEPA).
