Robinson Beach is a bathing area in the commune of Marseillan with an open configuration that allows pollution to disperse easily toward the sea. The beach has urbanized surfaces representing 34.3% of the immediate area, though bacterial survival from these areas is not particularly favored due to moderate topography and a sandy barrier along the coast. During summer, heavy rainfall events are rare, resulting in low pollution risk from precipitation during the bathing season. The dominant northwest winds support water quality by promoting dilution of potential pollution toward the sea.
