Rochard Beach is a bathing water site located in the commune of Landunvez in Brittany, France. The beach is subject to official bathing water quality monitoring and profile assessment conducted by LABOCEA. This profile document was revised in May 2018 to assess water quality, identify pollution sources, and provide recommendations for management. The beach's water quality classification is determined according to European Directive 2006/7/CE standards based on bacteriological monitoring results.

Water Quality

Pollution episodes have been recorded since 2008, with bathing closures documented since 2015. Water quality classification results are based on monitoring data from 2014-2017.

Risks

The site is sensitive to green algae blooms. Potential pollution sources identified include wastewater treatment systems, agricultural activities, stormwater runoff, and mooring activities at Argenton port.
