Rt Malin - Ispod kafića Plaja is a partially cultivated beach in Umag, Croatia, with a wavelike coastal shape and mild underwater slope. The beach surface is primarily concrete with pebble areas and low vegetation. The water is warm and saline, typical of the Adriatic Sea.

Adriatic Sea. Beach length 320 m, width 20 m. Average sea temperature during season 24.15°C. Salinity ranges from 32.3 to 39.1 during the season. Tide amplitude 49.4 cm. Mild coastal slope less than 15 degrees.

Location

Located in Umag at Ladin Gaj. Free parking is available. Beach access is via pedestrian path.

Facilities

Sanitary facility, shower, changing room, bench, auxiliary facility, trashcan. Floating safety lines protect the beach front.

Season

Annual monitoring conducted year-round with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually with 10 samples per year and in 4-year periods with 40 samples from 2009 to 2025 under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
