Uvala Slanik is a natural beach located in Umag on the Croatian coast. The beach features a rocky surface with low vegetation cover and spans 700 metres in length with a width of 10 metres. It is situated on an indented coastline with a mild underwater slope, making it suitable for swimming.

Tide amplitude is 49.4 centimetres. Prevailing wind direction is north-east. Mild underwater coastal slope of less than 15 degrees.

Location

Uvala Slanik is located in Umag, near Lovrečica. The beach is accessible via an asphalt road. No parking facilities are available at the beach.

Monitoring conducted year-round with 10 samples annually.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored annually with 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Quality classifications recorded include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings. Four-year assessment periods are conducted with 40 samples per period.
