Plage de Sainte Evette is a bathing beach located in Audierne, Finistère, Brittany. Bacteriological monitoring conducted by the Regional Health Authority (ARS) from 2008 to 2019. Water quality classification determined at the end of each bathing season according to applicable regulations. Identified pollution sources include agricultural practices, collective and non-collective wastewater treatment systems, and rainwater drainage networks. Bacterial contamination episodes are linked to rainfall.

Risks

Green algae blooms are a sensitivity concern for the area. Bacterial contamination episodes occur following rainfall. Jellyfish (Physalia) have been observed washed ashore on the coast.
