Secche di Circe is a sandy beach of notable tourist interest located in Ispica, Sicily. The beach features breakwater barriers to counter erosion phenomena. It is not easily accessible and is primarily used by residents of the surrounding area. The beach is free and unequipped, with no municipal ordinances or signs prohibiting animal access.

Water quality classification: Excellent. Monitoring conducted by ASP7, ARPA, Comune di Ispica, and Capitaneria di Porto di Pozzallo.

Risks

White water discharge and storm overflow structures present. Heavy precipitation can cause overflow of treated effluent conveyed into bathing waters. Treated wastewater from the municipalities of Pozzallo and Scicli is discharged to sea via submarine pipelines. Erosion phenomena occur in the coastal area.
