Sillvik is a 2.5 hectare seawater bathing area located in the Nordre Älv estuary nature reserve (Natura 2000). Swimming is available from the beach, rocks, jetties, and ladders. The bathing site features a gently sloping sandy beach with shells, fine filamentous green algae, and sandworms. Adjacent to the site is Sillvik nature reserve, which contains a rich flora including rare species such as bog bush-cricket and lady's slipper orchid. Eelgrass grows just outside the bay.
