Snickarhakens badplats is a fairly wide, shallow sandy beach with scattered rocky reefs located within Äspets nature reserve. The beach is registered as an EU bathing water by Kristianstad municipality. Water quality improved from poor to good between 2014 and 2016, and has consistently received excellent ratings from 2022 onwards.
