Sommerbad Duvenstedt is a fee-paying public open-air swimming pool located in the north of Hamburg in the Wandsbek district. The bathing area originated from a former marl pit in the 1930s and was developed into a public swimming facility. The water body is a shallow, unstratified basin that is filled with water only during the summer months. The bathing area is surrounded by meadows, with residential housing and a sports field adjacent to the grounds. Access to the bathing water is possible from all sides in all areas.
