Piaggio Beach is a mixed rocky, pebbly, and sandy bathing area located in Finale Ligure, Liguria. The beach extends 0.24 square kilometers and is situated near the Caprazoppa promontory. The Piaggio Aero Industries factory is located adjacent to the beach. The beach received an excellent water quality classification from 2008 to 2011.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent for the period 2008–2011. No coastal wastewater treatment plants or discharge systems are present in the area. No particular monitoring measures are currently active.

Risks

The bathing area is impacted by the Pora river mouth. Cyanobacteria blooms are not characteristic of the Ligurian Sea due to oligotrophic conditions. No cases of toxic algal proliferation have been recorded in the past four years.
