Ster Greich is a bathing site in the commune of Trégunc, Brittany, France, with a coastline of over 15 km. The site is classified as having good water quality according to the directive 2006/7/CE. Ster Greich has a length close to one hundred metres and is one of ten bathing zones in Trégunc. The bathing profile was initially established in 2010 and classified as type 1, indicating that the risk of water pollution was not evident. The profile was updated in November 2017 before the required deadline of 31 December 2017.

The bathing site is situated in a temperate oceanic climate region. The site extends along a coastline with a length approximately one hundred metres.

Location

Ster Greich is located in the commune of Trégunc on the maritime coast of southern Brittany, France, between the Pointe de Grignalou and Dourveil beach, along the Cornouaille coastline.

Water Quality

The bathing water was classified as good quality at the end of summer 2013 according to directive 2006/7/CE based on sanitary control results from the four previous bathing seasons. The site was assigned a type 1 profile in 2010, indicating that the risk of water pollution was not evident and water quality was classified as sufficient, good, or excellent.

Risks

Natural runoff sources (watercourses, streams) and other potential pollution sources were identified in the assessment. Collective and non-collective sewage systems, stormwater networks, and potential diffuse and point pollution sources were evaluated in the diagnostic phase.
