Location

Sciacca, Agrigento Province, Sicily. The bathing area is part of coastal section 14 of the Sicily Channel. Competent authorities include Sciacca Municipality (Via Roma 13, Tel. 0925 20111) and ASP 1 Agrigento (viale della Vittoria 321, 0922407111).

Facilities

Seasonal food and beverage service. Seasonal first aid and assistance service. Dogs are permitted with no posted access restrictions.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent. The area of influence includes uncultivated zones with Mediterranean scrub and seasonal residential development. No collection network for wastewater exists, and treatment plants do not conform to EU Directive 91/271/CE standards.
