Coastal marine water body in the Strait of Sicily (Canale di Sicilia). Bathing area extends 1.352 square kilometers. The beach has a medium slope with submerged sandy terrain sloping toward the shore.

Facilities

Seasonal food service, first aid and rescue assistance, hotel facilities for bathers. Dogs are permitted as there are no prohibition signs or ordinances restricting access.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent. The area has no existing sewage collection network and depurations plants do not conform to standards required by Directive 91/271/CE. No short-duration pollution events or anomalous situations impacting water quality have been identified.
