Tofta is one of Gotland's most popular bathing beaches, located approximately 20 km south of Visby on the west coast of Gotland. The sandy beach extends approximately 2 km in length with a beach strip approximately 20 m wide. The beach is adjacent to Smågårde nature reserve, which contains a partially forested area with coastal sand dunes. Dogs are not permitted on the beach between 1 May and 30 September.
