Visby Havsbad, also known as Kallbadhuset, is located adjacent to Visby harbour and near the city park Almedalen. The bathing area features a concrete jetty with a ladder at the beginning and two ladders at the end. The bottom consists of stone with a small artificial sandy beach of approximately 30 metres adjacent to the jetty, along with larger rocks. The water is deep. Waves can become high during windy weather and when the Gotland ferry departs or arrives. The concrete jetty can sometimes develop algae coverage causing severe slipperiness.
