Tómbolo de Covachos is a sandbar of fine sand located in Asturias near Castro Island that connects the mainland to the island across approximately 200 meters, though the sandbar becomes submerged at high tide. Access to the beach is via a worn footpath that is overgrown with vegetation, and a landslide blocks further access with a prohibition sign posted at the site.
