Torrente Vallone is a coastal bathing area in Calabria with a sandy-pebbly beach. The beach has a plain coastal geomorphology with submerged sediment granulometry ranging from 0.18 to 2 mm. The area extends across 1.322 square kilometers and is situated in front of agricultural territories between the municipalities of Africo and Bianco.

Coastal water body (Acque Costiere category). The water body is part of the Bianco-Casignana hydrographic system, fed by the Vallone della Vena watershed. The beach is sandy-pebbly with submerged sediment granulometry of 0.18 to 2 mm.

Located in the municipality of Bianco, province of Reggio Calabria, Calabria region. The area is positioned between the municipalities of Africo and Bianco.

Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific active pollution control measures are currently in place. The Vallone della Vena mouth has been identified as a potential pollution source.

Risks

Rainwater runoff from agricultural areas has been identified as a short-term pollution cause. No anomalous situations or harmful algal proliferations have been recorded in the previous four years.
