Risks

Identified pollution source: mouth of Torrente S. Antonio. Short-term pollution events have been associated with accidental treatment plant failures and overflow from the Bianco wastewater treatment plant. No anomalous situations have occurred. No harmful algal proliferation has been recorded in the past four years.
