Toul Bihan is a bathing beach located in the commune of Trégastel, in the Lannion-Trégor Communauté area in Brittany, France. The beach has a small catchment area of 39.2 hectares with no hydrographic network. It is characterized by low urban density and experiences significant seasonal population growth during summer. The beach is equipped with six access points and facilities including a sanitary block with regulatory signage.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored by the ARS (Regional Health Agency) at a designated monitoring point. E. coli and intestinal enterococci concentrations have been tracked between 2010 and 2023, with 95th percentile data recorded. The nearby recreational shellfish harvesting site at Bringuillier (mussels) is also monitored for bacterial quality. Potential pollution sources have been identified including wastewater collection and treatment systems, stormwater drainage, and agricultural activity.
