Traeth Penllech sits on the Llŷn Peninsula, reached via a free car park followed by an unpaved walk of around ten minutes across sheep fields. The beach is a mix of sand and pebbles with rock pools, caves, arches and a waterfall nearby, and dogs are permitted off lead. There are no toilets, bins or other amenities on site, with the nearest café located some distance away to the south west.
