Tylösand is a flagship beach of Halmstad, located eight kilometres west of the city. It forms part of a sandy beach approximately four kilometres long with dunes. The beach attracts large crowds on sunny days, particularly in the afternoons during July. Lifeguards patrol approximately ten kilometres of beach from mid-June to mid-August. The beach is partially accessible and includes standard and disabled-access toilets. Numerous cafés and restaurants are located in the area.
