Natural sea beach with 250 metres length and 8 metres width on an indented coastline. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.57°C. Salinity ranges from 37.2 to 39.2 during the season. Tide amplitude is 25 cm. Underwater coastal slope is moderate, ranging from 15 to 25 degrees. Prevailing wind direction is north.

Location

Hvar island, Croatia. The beach is accessible via an asphalt road and offers free parking. Coordinates: 43.1628°N, 16.4545°E.

Facilities

Sea buoys and beach safety net for protection. Restaurant on-site. Trash cans available. Boat docking is available nearby but outside the beach area.

Annual water quality monitoring conducted from 2009 to 2025 with consistent sampling schedules.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually with 10 samples per year and assessed in four-year periods with 40 samples total from 2009 through 2025 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Quality classifications reported include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
