Water quality classification: Excellent (2021–2024). Enterococcus intestinalis 95th percentile: 4.829; 90th percentile: 3.667. Escherichia coli 95th percentile: 37.526; 90th percentile: 21.031. Pollution sources include a private port, municipal mixed water conveyance system with emergency overflow outlets, and a consortium collector. The Peschiera del Garda treatment plant discharges into the Mincio River in Lombardy.
