Varigotti Centro is a coastal bathing area in Finale Ligure, Liguria, featuring a mixed sandy and pebbly beach on the western side with rocky surroundings on the eastern side. The area is located in a hilly zone in rapid degradation near the Punta Crena promontory. The bathing water is classified as excellent based on 2008–2011 monitoring data. The Ligurian Sea is characterized by oligotrophic conditions and does not experience cyanobacterial blooms or toxic algal proliferation.

River mouth is identified as a pollution source. Short-duration pollution events and anomalous situations are being assessed using a modelling approach in development. No cyanobacterial blooms or toxic algal species proliferation has occurred in the last 4 years.
