Baskarp is a natural bathing beach on Lake Vättern, located at the same elevation as the southern point of Visingsö, the lake's largest island. The beach comprises approximately 350 metres of fine light sand with no grassed areas, giving it the character of a seaside beach. The beach is situated on Svedudden just south of the Svedå river's outlet into Vättern.
