Furusjön is a small bathing spot with a 150-metre beach, of which 100 metres is fine sand. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. The southern part of the beach has grassy areas among sparse pine trees where swimmers can rest, or they may sit on the large sandy area next to the water. The beach reaches suitable swimming temperatures quickly.
