Vätterstranden is a centrally located sandy beach in Jönköping with light-coloured, fine-grained sand. The water is clean and clear. The beach extends from Rosenlund in the east towards the city centre and stretches for just over 1.5 km with large grassy areas adjacent to it. Under favourable conditions, it offers excellent swimming opportunities in the heart of the city.
