Vela Planica is located on the south side of the island of Brač, near Murvica and Bol, facing Hvar and Vis across open sea. The shoreline consists of small stone pebbles, with a natural cave providing shelter, and there is a restaurant (Ciccio) nearby. Access is via an unpaved road from Murvica or Bol followed by a walk through forest or down a steep slope; no facilities, dogs, nudism, or camping are permitted.
