Caorle spiaggia ponente-via G. D'Annunzio is a bathing water area located on the Adriatic coast in the Veneto region. The beach stretches between the Nicesolo canal to the northeast and the mouth of the Livenza river to the southwest. The beach width ranges from 50 to 100 metres. The hinterland is anthropogenic with heterogeneous tourist structures. The shoreline is oriented along the northeast-southwest direction.

Caorle, Venice province, Veneto region. The beach is situated between the Nicesolo canal to the northeast and the Livenza river mouth to the southwest.

Classification: excellent (2021-2024). EI95°: 19.947; EI90°: 17.476; EC95°: 112.386; EC90°: 76.075. Potential pollution sources include river mouths (Nicesolo canal, Lemene river, and Livenza river). Wastewater treatment plant: Caorle-Palangon treatment facility with design capacity of 120,000 equivalent inhabitants, located 5.8 km from the sea outlet.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events possible from river mouths. Numerical predictive modelling has been identified as a potential tool for assessing impacts.
